The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Cellino (if proven) is starting to get as stupid Mr Tan from Cardiff.

Cellino is in a different league of mental to Tan.

The bookies are reducing odds for Mick to become Palace manager.

They reduced Neil Warnock massively yesterday because of something he said on Talkshite.

Manager markets move massively all the time.

How deluded does Magath sound?

As for having a big hand in the development and subsequent success of Lahm and Neuer, that's rather like saying Moyes did a fantastic job in getting Rooney into Everton's team or Mark McGhee was key to Robbie Keane's career going the way it has because he picked him for Wolves at 17. They were always going to be great players regardless of who happened to be manager when they were at that age.

Magath is starting to act and sound like a complete idiot. I can only imagine for the sake of the Fulham fans he gets the boot back to Germany ASAP.

He'd do a good job at Palace but will still probably get them relegated.

Don't think that'd go down as a good job in the eyes of anyone associated with Palace.

With the tools he would have to hand, they'd probably stay up this season and he'd do his trick of signing gash players and then they'd get relegated.

And that's a good job, how?

So which is it? Relegation or good job?

So he's not going to do a good job there then, theoretically?

:D

To be honest looking at the odds,

Steve Clark is the only manager out of the favourites list that would be the ideal man for the job.

Warnock is currently the favourite for the job.

Relegation on the basis of Chamakh is gash and they need 2 new Cb's.

They're not a bad squad as it goes, decent defensively as all Pulis teams are built. Not the greatest midfield and fairly average up front but not relegation fodder like Burnley.

Take away Pulis' organisation and ability to get the best out of limited footballers, and they're certain to be relegated.

Palace fans seem to be more on the positive side with regards to Mick "Will do a great job and relegate them" McCarthy but that might be due to the fact the Warnock was heavily tipped the day before, so a "anyone but him" response.

Mick lives in the area as well
