By all accounts UEFA have stated if any nation voids their season they’ll be excluded from the next season of European football. That should be enough to keep at least 7 clubs against voiding a season.
Bosses at the FA need to make it clear a voided season is off the table and none negotiable.
How quickly can you play out 9-10 league games from say early August? Probably late September.
6 weeks close season and reconvene mid November, everybody plays each other once then the league splits like Scotland.
You basically have 28 game season, no league cup or football league trophy.
No FA cup replays and straight knockout European competition.

The FA can't do anything to the PL. They are their own independent body

Let’s look at this a simple way we resume the season when it’s safe to do so, relegation, promotion etc is decided in ad fair a possible way.
Or we cancel it we then have ongoing legal battles between clubs and authorities. Years and years of fans from different clubs arguing over this.
The most uneasy thing about this is there’s fans, owners of clubs who are hoping the season is voided.
Let’s just stop and think what needs to happen with this virus for that to occur, it will mean more will have been infected and more will have died.

PL and EFL know what’s coming if they void it all, some buffoon on twitter said they’d have no case to answer due to unprecedented situation.
Say it again fans and officials at certain clubs are using this as an opportunity to save their own clubs failings but hiding behind the statement “more things are more important than sport”
A. They must thing everyone is stupid
B. If that’s your attitude then what’s the harm in resuming whenever?
C. PL clubs you won’t mind handing back 25% of your TV revenue will you?
D. Clubs in the relegation zone asking for this you won’t mind the season being ended now but current league positions still stand will you?

Put those questions to them or those choices and watch an attitude change.

Considering the position of his club compared to their regular place in the table, I am mystified as to why he should want such an outcome.

It’s just a lazy solution nonsensical solution. No doubt Kane will want the CL places the same as they were in August.
As said it’s easy for people to pass it of as “more important things than sport are going on”
