The Football News Thread 2017/18 - everything not Wolves

Glasgow is another city I like which gets an unfair press, I'm off up there for a few days on Sunday

Not having that, I love Edinburgh. Glasgow is decent though.

Same as Manchester is better than Liverpool but the latter is alright these days.

I'm still not keen on Birmingham, better than it was 20 years ago but it does nowt for me.

Edinburgh is nicer to look at but think Glasgow has it beat everywhere else. Apart from Panda count.

I don't care for Manchester or Liverpool personally, I'd rather stay in Birmingham than travel to either.

Think Nottingham and Bath are up there as favourites.

I like Edinburgh of course but personally I like the real, gritty charm of Glasgow and it's characters

I like Aberdeen too! And Inverness, Dundee and Stirling. I like them all for different reasons but then I am a Scottophile

You will be telling me you like Motherwell next, and then I shall have to call the police.

I once spent an evening in Motherwell. Not the greatest town I have visited.

Not been to Motherwell, maybe next week

I'll stick to my original itinerary of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Loch Lomond and Ayr

Good news as Motson is finally retiring at the end of the season. Should have gone 20 years ago.

Bath is awesome to be fair!

Ayr is fucking horrendous.

Really? It's the one I haven't been to. We want a run down the Ayrshire Coast and my original plan was Largs as I have been there before and it's ok (a grottier version of Oban) and Daniela Nardini's family are there

Good news although I don't like the business of stating that your retiring at the beginning of the season rather than just bow out (gracefully?) at the end with a thank you and goodbye. We've had a summer of Blowers and Foster on a goodbye tour and now will have a winter/spring of it with Motson!

The the next retirement I want to hear about will be Tyldesley. How the f%$k he is still in a job with the constant rambling of statistics that nobody wants to listen to and general shite about the game is beyond me. He'll deserve some sort of honour when he retires though as he will be saving thousands of televisions from getting a kicking each time he is on air.

The Ayrshire coast is lovely, but Ayr itself is a dreadful place.
