Started last season. Teams from Ireland and Wales take part. Part of a TV deal. The Scot Prem teams enter their U20 squads as well.

Thank you. I presume that is their equivalent of the Checkatrade competition in England. Though I find it surprising that clubs from another country are allowed to enter.

Agreed. People tend to stereotype Liverpool because of problems in the past, but now it is a vibrant city and well worth visiting.
