Everton: For too long now we have been paying way too much money for players who are washed up or have done nothing for years, it's crippled us financially, we have to learn lessons from this

Also Everton: Let's sign Kalvin Phillips

According to the information of HITC's Graeme Bailey, City are 'ready to listen to offers' for Nunes just one year after signing the versatile midfield talent from Wolves, with clubs in Saudi Arabia already circling.

Depending who you listen to, all of Everton, Forest, Villa and Newcastle could seriously do with a decent sized sale of someone before June 30 for PSR reasons.

Leicester as well I think.
Think Leicester have all manner of issues. It's pretty much a given that they failed Premier League PSR in 2022/23 so the deduction for that is in the post, and there certainly shouldn't be any knocked off for "co-operation" as in the case of Forest because they behaved like complete pricks a few weeks ago when it all came to light.

Then we come to 2023/24 and their viability for 2024/25, neither of which look particularly good.

It's what Brentford tried with Forest and Johnson last year, isn't it?

Then Forest said "fuck it, we'll risk it" and got done.

In hindsight it was the correct decision. All it cost them was the lawyers fees

Tosin close to choosing Chelsea over Newcastle.

Don't they already have a ton of centre halves?

Fans seem to think they’re selling Chalobah to help with PSR

None of their defenders looked all that great last season so I guess Tosin backs himself to be a starter there? Big risk (for Tosin and Chelsea both) though; the gap between the Prem and Serie A has probably never been wider, at least since I've been paying attention.
