I guess Kimi gives Ferrari pretty much guaranteed solid manufacturer points without a huge struggle to be number 1 driver. Patrese-max i suppose. Say Ricciardo comes in, he will want to challenge Vettel far more you would imagine.

For me it went south for him at Red Bull this season when an incident involving him and Max was put on him in public by Horner. Normally they keep blame game in house and in front of the camera they give the usual on the fence bollocks. On this one, Horner full on said it was Danny Rics fault when Sky spoke with him

Maybe Red Bull wouldn't give him just a one year extension and he wants to keep 2020 options open? Or he genuinely thinks Renault might get back to the top... does seem like an odd move but good luck to him. I'd like to see him succeed

It's going to be absolute carnage watching the midfield teams sort out their line-ups.

You've got FI in all sorts of trouble, with Ocon now tied up there but the Stroll's wanting in and Perez out of contract. Toro Rosso have seemingly exhausted their production line, the will he/won't situation with Alonso and the implication this has with Norris (and Stoff) who McLaren have to make a decision on in September, or face losing him entirely.

If Leclerc does indeed move to Ferrari, there's another position available there and that's before you get to Williams and Grosjean potentially being binned off.

Nothing from him yet but if he leaves it will be to go and do the Indy Series rather than move to another F1 team. Also, Alonso would be an out of character move by Red Bull.
