It would be very unlike red bull but I bet the thought of Alonso in their car would be very tempting if he showed an interest. My guess is he‘ won’t be in F1 next year. Gasly will probably get the RB drive and Sainz will replace Alonso
I’m really interested to see how Ricciardo goes against Hulkenburg, hope Renault make a step up. I suppose with Red Bull switching to Honda there’s a chance they won’t be as competitive
Just a shame he wasted the end of his career driving a dodgy Honda Civic around various F1 tracks. Spent his Ferrari years dragging a poor car around and getting some outstanding results, he leaves and they improve.
I still think McLaren should have been sensible in 2007 and made him number 1 driver over Lewis to make sure they won it, they took enough points off each other in the end which allowed Kimi to win it. Agree he shouldn’t have left Ferrari but they’ve still not won anything tbf.
Full access to the pitlane and paddock. Met Fernando, Buemi, Conway and Nakajima coming out of their motorhome. Autograph session in the pits - photos/chats with Pastor, Fisichella, Giedo van der Garde, Nyck De Vries and plenty more.
Today it was all about engine use. Lewis has now used his 3 full units so what he has in the car now needs to get him to the end of season. So shit to then watch a car basically give up challenging to save the engine. Hamilton looks hugely fucked off at the end.
The crappy tyres and engine regs mean we get a few minor battles up front and then it just settles into nothing, another blast around pit stops and then back to nothing.
