Pole again for Lewis Hamilton. He will take some stopping this season.
I hope the other teams close the gap otherwise it is not going to be great entertainment.
I watched the grand prix and it shocked the hell out of me when Senna died. The Ratzenburger incident I can remember being on the news the day before and that morning the paper that my parents took (I think it was the Times back then) had a full page picture of Roland in the car after the accident with the headline "Death Returns To The Track" and a sub-line of "this must never happen again".
The way the weekend is dealt with in the film Senna is some of the most powerful and distressing cinema I have ever watched. And yet still utterly brilliant.
It is often forgotten that two racing drivers lost their lives that weekend.
I think it is among the general population, but like to think that isn't the case among F1 fans. I'm amazed there is no RR memorial at Imola though. That is poor stuff indeed.
I could not have put it better. Well said Sir.
Thanks Frank. I'm forty two next month. Not a lot makes me cry that can be put in front of me to watch on a screen. Senna does, every time. Mind you, it is watching the death of one of my absolute heroes growing up. I worshipped Senna through his career.
