Well that turned out to be pretty bloody good. Excellent chase of Hamilton by Rosberg but he couldn't quite do it, Alonso v Raikkonnen in the Ferraris was good stuff and a cracking drive by Vettel to get into fourth. We hardly saw Ricciardo!
Seemed like an odd mistake to make to me, especially as he very rarely puts a foot wrong and was nowhere near hitting the barriers. Was over a tenth down on first sector too.
This will be a good test for the new calmer Hamilton, he may well have to settle for second today but will he be able to?
I appreciate it's iconic but I just don't see the point in this Grand Prix at all.
Before the race even started the commentator on the radio was saying it's virtually impossible to overtake, I take it those who enjoy Motor racing want to see overtaking.
Rosberg engineered the race by fixing pole position in qualifying by all accounts.
A pointless spectacle for the beautiful people as far as I'm concerned.
