Ten place grid penalty for Webber hitching a lift with Alonso.

Farcical.

Let's hope Russia and Mexico are decent. Are they Tilke circuits?

He is doing something to it

Hermann Tilke’s company is planning alterations to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City which is tipped to host a round of the world championship next year.

The New Jersey one looked good when Vettel did the test run last year but that might just have been due to the backdrop rather than the actual track

Last I heard the New Jersey track owners had run out of money and/or time.

That was for this current season. Some funding was delayed or something and they missed the deadline. All seems good to go now.

Fairly sure I heard/read the New jersey GP was dropped from next year too?

Quite a nasty accident for Dario Franchitti (he's ok) in IndyCar last weekend, with plenty of debris going into the crowd over the fencing:

As far as the F1 is going, it's a bit of a snoozefest at the minute. I hope Suzuka is better this weekend as it's one of my favourite tracks ever.

Agreed in as much as RB/Vettel have made the championships one-horse races, but there's actually been some very good racing per se this season, and really enjoyable to watch. If it had meant something, it could have been one of the best seasons of late, I reckon. Sad that one car's dominance has turned it into so much 'so what?'

He's fractured his legs and back, hasn't he? Awful accident.

As for the F1, it was the first time in a long while that I couldn't be bothered to watch quali. I can't see it getting any better this season, especially at Suzuka which is Red Bull paradise. There's some decent action in amongst the pack but the Vettel/RB package is untouchable.

Oh I didn't know that, I got the vid from somewhere else and they said he was ok. Nasty.

It's become like watching paint dry, and would you bloody believe this is the first season it's live on greek TV. A snoozefest guys, sorry but it is.

The stuff between Hulkenburg, Hamilton & Alonso certainly wasn't a snoozefest yesterday

Just becaause 1 man is dominating the sport doesn't mean everything else behind him is boring

It only got interesting towards the end of the race though. I didn't even bother watching all of Singapore.

He has cracked two vertebrae and fractured an ankle. First accident of that type since Indy went to closed wheel design at the back following the Wheldon crash. Seems to me that the rear of the car is even more of a launch pad now than before. It was a bad accident, but I would be much more worried about a similar accident at somewhere like Indianapolis at 200mph plus.

I was up all night Saturday so I sat and watched it. I wish it was a snorefest as I need some sleep
