The F1 Thread

Its tedious, but next season should switch things up. If it doesn't I imagine a lot of people will be feeling the same way.

He's not miles out in front yet but it just has the feeling of inevitability already that it won't be close, I guess we were spoiled a bit by a few very close seasons not long ago.

47 points IS miles out in front considering the reliability of cars nowadays, and the fact he's unlikely to be out of the top 3 positions more than two or three times for the rest of the season.

Red Bull looking untouchable at Monza

Alonso could be about to engrossed in a catatonic Italian shitstorm.

Looks like it's going to be Raikkonen in and Massa out at Ferrari next year then.

Massa has announced he will not be a Ferrari driver next year

With the hope of joining a team who can help him compete for the Championship......

Good luck with that, Felipe.

Top guy, but not at the level he was in 2008.

Lotus should be after Hulkenberg if he's not going to be going to Ferrari.

I'd love to see Hulkenberg in a fast car, I think he'd be a better fit for Ferrari and Alonso than Kimi.

So do I. Ferrari are going to have two driver who have possibly three years left at the top if they take Kimi.

If he's up to a return to F1 I think Kubica would be a great replacement for Lotus. Seems to be doing pretty well in the rallying.

He had another huge shunt today, he's fine though.

Glad to hear he's back driving and doing well, I hadn't heard much about his comeback. I know he was touted as a future champion before the injury so I'd love to see him back.

There's still doubts over whether Kubica's wrist will ever have the movement or strength to allow him to return to F1, which is a shame.

We will see how it pans out with Alonso and Kimi, on paper a strong pairing but does a top end team work better with clear No 1 and No 2 drivers? It is not hard to foresee friction

Kimi claiming he is joining Ferrari because Lotus haven't been paying him

These two are in a different league to everybody else. The consistency is incredible.
