Sheff Wed (H) We are having a party build up

Wolves
‏@Wolves
Wolves officials are supportive of the fan-led initiative encouraging supporters to line Waterloo Road to welcome the home team coach ahead of Saturday’s match against
However, for fans seeking to show their support in this way, Wolves urge them to begin lining the road no earlier than 1pm, to welcome the coach on arrival at 1.15pm.
Cooperation with this request will negate the need to close Waterloo Road any earlier than usual, and thus avoid inconveniencing fellow supporters making their way to the game. Thank you for your support!

Hoping for a slightly different game than when Wednesday were last in town

Our team that day

Lonergan, Iorfa, Stearman, Hause, Doherty, Coady, Price, Costa (Tex 71'), Edwards, Saville (Dicko 45'), Bödvarsson (Cav 76),
Unused Subs - Ikeme, Enobakhare, Saiss, Ronan

Somewhat changed this season! The only thing good about that game was our crowd of just under 28k, despite us being just outside the relegation spaces.

I bet Doc has his review printed out and framed in his kitchen

He was lucky to get 0.

Amazing what happens when you decide to be an acceptable weight for a footballer and actually try (and the manager keeps you away from the pesky stuff such as "marking" and "defending" to a large extent)

I think you just have to genuinely accept that Doc has improved from a physical point of view and our system now suits him very well too. He will be back up next season for sure, but he has done well, and with minimal fuck ups this season.

He has done well for most of the time, I've said as much! I don't bear grudges. He has had some terrible games that people forget along the way, but they're in the minority.

However he isn't playing as a full back or even close. He would still be awful there.

Oh God yes - Nuno has found a role that suits him. He would still be dire in a back four.

I think it's fair to say that Doherty can do a decent job in that position in the Championship but he'll get found out in the Premier League. Fair play to him this season but next season will be a step too far.

Going to be getting to the Royal London between 11 and 11.30. No work, but have a quick errand to run before the beery goodness begins. I won't be having the curry though sadly. Funds don't allow it. Bloody car insurance to pay for this month.
Do you chaps think you'll be in the London for the duration of pre-match? I get into Wolvo at 1.30 ish. Just leaving Euston.

Yeah, should be. Will PM you if we decide to move

No flags for the grumpy old north bankers. All other seats are covered.

Oh dear.

Do we not care enough now we're up to bother with a match thread!? :stirthepot::)

jota's been making some good runs but keeps getting missed, getting understandably frustrated

afobe steals a bad back pass, round the keeper who came out, but too tight of an angle, just rolls across the whole mouth of the goal

is anyone else even watching? :icon_lol:

seemed like he got jotas foot there, no penalty? be curious to see the replay, I'm admittedly not good at these things first glance
