Norwich 0 - 2 Wolves: Something something bogey team...

It's going to be heart breaking when Nuno leaves for Everton and cherry picks the squad in January/July. That would be so Wolves. :-(

Wolves pre fosun yes ......... However now? Absolutely no chance. Its no longer about money. He has everything he wants financially and structurally here at Wolves. He has never been happier . I dare say he has never been richer and in Fosun we have owners who will just pay more to keep him if it comes to it. Besides, Everton in their current position dont need a Nuno. They need a BFS and that is who I think they will go for.

I hate Norwich. I really do. I suppose its from living my life in East Anglia where the majority of their fans live, together of course with Ipswich. In recent years I have had dogs abuse from Norwich fans. Its gone very very quiet on my feeds this morning. I am starting to believe that we may be the real deal. Say it quietly.

Shout it from the bloody rooftops, mate. It's true!

I lived in Long Stratton for 3 years before moving back up north, it's bizarre how much they hate us. I still get phone calls from school friends I haven't seen for 15+ years whenever they beat us. Last night will have hurt them badly.

Sometimes you really dont know whaen to zip it do you? After all that tripe about Batth and Boly and the criticism re QPR and Norwich as recent bogey sides I left it as " We are all entitled to our opinion" but you have to have a little snipe. So- as you have gleefully opened the door I will close it by saying that our first win at Carrow road since 2007 ended our poor form of 1 win in 9 against them. But remember we won at Huddersfield once too. And one swallow doesnt a summer make. Pipe back up when we beat them, Arsenal and Brighton next year in the premier league and then perhaps I will stop being a bit nervous when we play certain teams until then? ............. Make up your own ending. Merry Xmas. Thought I would get that out of the way as well.

I find one way rivalry like this to be completely bizarre. A bloke I knew at uni was a Norwich fan and the way he'd goad me was so weird!

I suppose when your only local rival is 50 miles away, you have to find other sides to dislike.

Having been to Carrow Road a few times, I found them to dislike Midlands teams in general, but they singled out Wolves as they felt Molineux was not a pleasant ground to visit. My impression was that it was our fans more than the football club that they disliked.

I think Norwich fans don't really like other places in general. Norwich is one of those places which is a pain in the arse to get to - when you live in Norwich everywhere else must be a pain in the arse to get to

Can we drop this now, please? Clearly the two parties will never find middle-ground, and for the rest of us to read through pages & pages of the same argument/debate over and over again, it's extremely tedious.

Cheers.

I think it stems back to 1973-74. In those days you only changed your strip when there was a colour clash. With relegation looming, they didn't have much money and had pawned their away kit mid-season, so in the League Cup semi-final second leg at Molineux John 'Premium' Bond had them wearing white T-shirts with the numbers done in felt tip. They've never got over the humiliation. (This might be wrong.)

Wonderful quote off the 'Pinkun' Forum

Saw the game at CR.
IMO, Wolves aren't that good. They just played a physical, disruptive, fouling game that pushed Norwich off their flow. That said, Norwich only looked to be playing at about 80% anyway but I think a fully fit Norwich would have had them... especially if the ref. had blown for every foul that Wolves commited. As it was they commited 24 to Norwich's 11 and many went unpenalised by the ref.

:icon_lol: :icon_lol:

What a moron. In contrast, here's the Norwich manager had to say about it:

"We have to accept we faced an opponent with a very high quality, with bigger quality than us. They were the better team, although it is annoying that we conceded two goals from set pieces.

"They are so good on counters and with the quality of their offensive players it is impossible to control all the counter attacks. They have an unbelievable quality for this division."

How many assists is that for Douglas now? 5?

I didn't say Taylor! I have proof and everything.

Number 6, I never knew Dave whelan broke his leg,he never mentions it,and faint praise for hoddle shocker!

Doesn’t it stem back to the Kevin Muscat tackle on Bellamy?

I would say it was more a mild stab at Hoddle than praise.
