Norwich 0 - 2 Wolves: Something something bogey team...

For those moaning at Bonatini missing sitters. Jota missed the most glaring opportunity where a first time shot on his right is a guaranteed goal and N’Diaye should have done better.

.

Think Leo is currently scoring 1 from every 3 decent chances he gets. Will take that for the rest of the season

Hasn't Leo scored in 6 consecutive league matches? I've no problem with him missing a few sitters if he keeps banging then in like he has been. All strikers miss chances.

What foot is Jota, honestly haven’t seen a preference. I’d say right due his Millwall goal but he hits them from range on both feet.

All of them last night the finishing was woeful

Five.

First player to do that since Camara in 2004 according to Britney (I haven't got round to checking if he's right or wrong yet, I'm going to believe him for now)

Treated myself to the extended highlights, we shat all over them. Not sure how Alan thought it was even [emoji848]

Jota is right footed but as you say he doesn't mind using his left. He put in a quality cross with his left last night actually.

He has that crazy dribbling doesn't he where he just takes a little touch with either foot to keep it going. Love it.

me too. maybe it was just that the game felt in the balance whilst it was only 1-0 even though we were creating all the chances. the Doc had a great game based on the highlights.

Still a lazy feck though at times. Annoys me. Head drops, strolls back.

The problem is that you never have any idea what you're going to get from him. By all accounts he was very good last night and dire against QPR. He was excellent against Villa and Bristol City at home, appalling against Cardiff and Barnsley.

We can't afford that, no-one else gets away with it.

Pretty sure they played in red that day, I was there but it was a long time ago.

Yep, me too, and at Carrow Road the Wednesday before (and what a bastard of a coach trip that was in 1974). We wore white shirts at their place, which is what gave me the idea for that bit of nonsense. You're right, though; the Norwich away strip was red then.

i did wonder, hence 'based on highlights' which often won't give a full story. generally, from what i've seen which tbf has mainly been highlights, he's looked good in forward positions. strolling back is never good though.

I didn't think he was all that good last night, tbf. Passable is probably what I'd say.

I suppose I'm being more negative than most on here but all I can say is that I'm giving my honest opinion of the match and I promise I'm not trying to WUM.

IMO there were too many times last night, especially in the first half, that his positioning was a bit bizarre; he would pop up in areas that were too far forward to be a defensive help to Bennett but simultaneously wasn't finding space to be an outlet for the forwards. He got better about that in the second half but it was really strange.

Have a running joke going with my missus. She's been to a few games with me and other than saying Bright did well in one game she has bummed off Doherty. Full of praise for him. Loves his little cut-ins that despite the defender knowing what's coming, still manages to pull it off. Every time she's been he's done fairly well. I'm there trying to say why I don't like him so much and he's there doing his magic cut-in and putting a decent ball in. Funny.

He's so much better attacking than defending. Some of you on here knew that though and so probably expected him to be half decent in this role.

Maybe if we had competition @ RWB he would improve further? Can't be a bad thing!

that's a cert to happen, and if we go up he'd at best be providing it. in the prem, the defensive element and tracking back is going to be even more critical to that role.

How far away is Ofosu-Ayeh? Can't be much longer now. Must be so frustrating for him watching this team from the sidelines.
