That said, Brighton themselves are the perfect example of what can happen if your manager makes a brave call. De Zerbi dropped Sanchez when his form became a bit ropey and Steele has been excellent since coming in.

I wouldn’t sell Nunes. He’s wildly inconsistent but that’s the nature of a player joining a new league in a wildly inconsistent team who have largely been on the back foot (when he was used to dominating at Sporting). He just needs a bit of coaching and has already come on in leaps and bounds since we signed him in the summer.
