Hello, WHU fan in peace here.
Walking to the ground from the town centre before the game, a chap (maybe 50/60+) slipped badly on the ice just outside the Wolverhampton Learning Centre on the walkway towards the underpass at about 2.25pm. He looked as if he banged the back of head when he fell and seemed to be knocked out. Some other folks were with him, so my son and I tried to find help for him. No stewards around and no one in the Learning Centre Building so we notified police at the underpass entrance who said they were aware and help was on it is way.
So if anyone knows the person, I hope he's ok - he seemed in a pretty bad way when he fell and I was surprised there were no matchday staff in the area and so much of the area hadn't been gritted. Would be grateful if someone could confirm the chap is on the mend. Thanks.
