Norwich 0 - 2 Wolves: Something something bogey team...

If we play Ryan Bennett and Will Norris in every game then we're going to win the Champions League by 2020. Neither of them have played in a game where we've conceded yet.
Insane!

If you think that thread was negative you should have a look at the Pinkun. Good grief. You'd think they'd just lost to AFC Flyde, not the best Championship side since Jean Tigana's Fulham.

Ha ha
Another of their matchday thread forums just ends after our 2nd goal with "im going to bed":icon_razz:

Thought we always looked like scoring when we attacked but seemed to try and walk it in too many times...but this is being picky...we are a delight to watch at the moment.

The only chance which made the highlights was the one Bonatini poked past the keeper. The way it was described on here, the radio and twitter I expected it to be a sitter. Was far from it and he did well to get it as close as he did.

Wonderful quote off the 'Pinkun' Forum

Saw the game at CR.
IMO, Wolves aren't that good. They just played a physical, disruptive, fouling game that pushed Norwich off their flow. That said, Norwich only looked to be playing at about 80% anyway but I think a fully fit Norwich would have had them... especially if the ref. had blown for every foul that Wolves commited. As it was they commited 24 to Norwich's 11 and many went unpenalised by the ref.

Seriously? The blind, blinkered and self-delusional vision of some football fans never ceases to amaze me!

Just watching the goals back, that is some seriously bad defending for our first goal. Who shall we leave unmarked eight yards out, how about that centre half who's about nine foot tall.

He should be hitting the target though. Alfred had 2 great chances and Jota should have scored when set up by Bright but took too long. There were others and i should imagine they will be in the extended highlights.

Great work by Doherty to win the header that led to the 2nd goal.

I think it’s a bit much to say “he should hit the target”, if that goes in its a great finish, but saying that, if he gets it ion target the keeper probably gets something ion it from that angle. Very small area where it can actually go in.

I’ll look forward to the highlights. Mikey Burrows had me thinking we should have won 6-0 and were missing sitters.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke:

"Normally I am very sad and annoyed and try to figure out the factors behind our defeat. This is very easy.

"We have to accept we faced an opponent with a very high quality, with bigger quality than us. They were the better team, although it is annoying that we conceded two goals from set pieces.

"They are so good on counters and with the quality of their offensive players it is impossible to control all the counter attacks. They have an unbelievable quality for this division."
Amen brother .

I really didn't think we bossed or controlled the game but appreciate that I appear to be in the minority.

We know your game now Alan. No worries keep on beating that troll drum Yank ;-)

If they've created next to nothing, we've created plenty and their manager says we had way too much for them then what else can it be...

I was never confident until we got the second. We counter attacked well but didn't put chances away. Defended well but some of it was last ditch. Norwich were poor on the whole, possibly most threatening from the many free kicks the ref found reason to give them.

At the end we were taking the piss though. Boly and Bennett the best players for me. Bonatini's finish was superb.

It took an hour to get off the car park, the A11 was a nightmare, but who cares - we're top of the league and we're going up.

I guess the best way I can say it is that against Villa I never felt like we weren't completely in control of the outcome, even when we didn't have possession. Tonight, I didn't have that; Norwich still looked dangerous and I thought we were too open in midfield.

Also the issues with our front three that I mentioned earlier.

Just got home and it was a good result.

Lots to be positive about, a couple of areas to improve.

Can sum Norwich (and their fans) up in 2 words - quite quiet. To say they were at home as well.

They couldn't have made a comeback towards the end if we gave it them. Mixture of us playing well and them being rather quiet I'd say.

Costa doesn't look to have any confidence at all. Nuno needs to work on him but worryingly he already will be and it isn't going well.

Live on Sky Friday baby! :)

Even if we had been lucky and won the game I’d still be delighted.
