Norwich 0 - 2 Wolves: Something something bogey team...

Thought it was a pretty even game and the difference was how fucking outstanding our CBs were. Too many poor decisions going forward in the first half, then a lot of really good last-ditch defending from Norwich in the second half. They had their chances too, though, and as much as I will be annoyed that we allowed them to get the ball in our box like they did I also feel we have to give our players credit actually clearing the ball and preserving the clean sheet. Earlier this season I'm not sure Norwich wouldn't have scored a couple from some of the chaos they were able to produce in our area.

Douglas was improved and Doherty was just barely serviceable, although once Leo scored our second he completely reverted to type and he just looks so lazy at times. He was really pissing me off late on as he sold Costa short a couple of times to give away possession when Costa would have been able to take it into the corner and kill some time.

Ruddy didn't have a lot to do in the way of shot stopping but he had plenty of high balls to contend with and to his credit he was imperious. I've been critical of him lately but he made everything his and that's all you can ask for.

You paint a totally different picture to the Wolves Twitter page, it seems from the Tweets we absolutely destroyed them.. Strange.

Cottee said he doesnt know how it was still 1-0 at the time and said when Leo scored it was about bloody time.

Probably goes without saying but I stand by my report.

We controlled the game, and limited them to just humping the ball into box, whilst (obviously other than the goals) I wouldn't say we created clear cut chances, but there were several half chances.

Norwich never really looked like scoring, but I was nervous because their tactic was cross, cross, cross, which we have struggled with this season, however Bennett and Boly (and Coady to a lesser extent) dealt with those crosses superbly.

I found the comms thread slightly bizarre and overly negative - sounded like we played well, created plenty and came away with a comfortable win.

Top of the league, best goal difference, most goals scored, the league's top scorer in the team.

Smile folks - it's going very well!

Our attacking play was very good lots of last ditch blocks and tackles stopping it from being a bigger score. Front 3 all excellent Bonatinis movement to link play then get into scoring positions is exceptional he always seems to miss a few but they all do that. The midfield was perfectly balanced I think Alf should stay in on that performance, Ruben was great again. Boly class and I think his presence helped Douglas who looked better than he has in previous weeks, his delivery for set pieces excellent.

Norwich came at us but we dealt with most things comfortably all the back 3 solid and Bennett looked comfortable enough, he deserves to retain his spot IMO.

TREMENDOUS response to Saturday's defeat. Bonatini is turning out to be a fooking legend

Excellent win, almost looked too easy, though there were nervy moments before Leo's goal. Norwich were wide open defensively, we looked dangerous every time but were often indecisive. Should have had at least one more. Cav, again, created very little for me, Neves was sloppy and looked a bit moody. Boly is a god, wingbacks were back to their normal industrious selves, and Ruddy is the most confidence inspiring goalie we've had since Murray.
Ref was rubbish.

Aye, the negativity on there was ridiculous. You'd think we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth and playing like we did under Ken vs Reading on Boxing Day 2015. We bossed the game.

Costa for Cav against Fulham

If you think that thread was negative you should have a look at the Pinkun. Good grief. You'd think they'd just lost to AFC Flyde, not the best Championship side since Jean Tigana's Fulham.

Excellent win, norwich never really threatened and ruddy took all the pressure off with some great takes. Defende were excellent and the wingbacks looked good again - Doherty had a good game with some superb touches and runs, and Douglas after being completely beaten for pace by pinto settled down well. Jota had a quiet game and took studs to the ankle about three times. Cav was my man of the match, some of his driving runs with the ball were superb.

Alan, the balls from Doherty to Costa we’re fine, Costa just didn’t react - he looked a mile off the pace in his time on the pitch, quite worrying.

A great game for my lad, who can go to school with his head held high tomorrow - and. Barry Douglas came over to say hello to him at the end too, too man!

Costa need a start to get some confidence back imo

He's started a few games Fred, it's confidence that his ankle is fine that he needs and it doesn't matter how long he plays or when he plays he needs to get that out of his head.

I fucking love the guy. Unshakeable focus on the big picture and the next game.

Nuno: "It was important to bounce back from what happened the previous game. The boys did that so well done to them. Tomorrow we work."

First game i've missed for a while and it sounded like in the first half we played quite well but having managed to watch the majority of the second half i thought we were in complete control of the game and it was just a matter of time before we got the second. This Wolves team isn't like most others i've seen because i'm not worried about them in the slightest, they are top class and they are going to get promoted bar an absolute disaster that would be Wolves all over but it isn't going to happen.

If we play Ryan Bennett and Will Norris in every game then we're going to win the Champions League by 2020. Neither of them have played in a game where we've conceded yet.
