Loan Watch 2019-2020

You'll be getting shouted out for putting that in the loan thread...

Full games for Mir, Ennis and John too. Ennis in particular had a few chances to score but couldn't find the net.

Norris and Bright made their debuts. Norris made a number of good saves despite conceding 3, while Bright was subbed with 10 to go after a quiet game.

Ryan Giles came on as a late sub for Shrewsbury.

Slightly baffled by Leeds last night. Played Costa as a left winger, then through the middle. Finally moved him to the right and he immediately set up two goals

Fluid forward line.

We constantly flipped our wide options around during games when we had the 3 up top (Dean Saunders used to flip the whole team around every 5 mins but that is a different tactic)

Cav with a beaut of a goal for Fulham v Hudds

Also got the assist for their first goal, apparently.

Nope, the Hudds defender produced a peach of a cross :icon_lol:

Cav taking advantage of a defender running away from him in the box

Decent finish though

The player who made the run down the outside of Cav was vital. Meant the defender was caught between going to Cav or following the runner. He tried to call someone over to Cav but in the 2 second window, Cav put it in the top corner

Ennis and John given their first league starts at home to Fleetwood.

Sounds like a good finish

From this weekend.

Ivan Cavaleiro - Fulham, The Championship.

Played 84 minutes of a 2-1 win at Huddersfield and got his first goal for the club, a pearler from the edge of the box as can be seen from the link posted earlier. Had another couple of attempts on goal: one curled just wide and the other well saved.

Niall Ennis and Cameron John - Doncaster, League One.

Both handed their full league debuts at home to Fleetwood. John played the full 90 and smashed home a screamer off the bar to equalise. Ennis was involved in some good build-up play at times but was subbed after 70 minutes.

Ryan Giles - Shrewsbury Town (League One)

Another full game in a goalless draw at home to Rochdale. Got forward to good effect but couldn't produce anything meaningful.

Subs: Rafa Mir (Nottingham Forest) On after with 10 minutes to go in a pleasing 3-0 win over Blues. Nearly scored with an acrobatic effort that flew just over. Bright (Wigan) Replaced ex-Wolf Michael Jacobs while 2 down at home to Leeds, involved in some good attacking play towards the end but they couldn't get the goal.

Unused subs: Norris.

Not in squad: Dadashov, Herc, Ronan.
