That two faced lying cunt would have convinced half the country that he was the second coming (again).Then proceeded to spend every £ he could beg, borrow or steal, fuck the economy so badly that it would then take another 10-15 years to sort out, whilst checking to make sure I still had all my fingers and toes.

I wouldn't call Blair a Socialist just a short-termist who bailed out when the accounts were audited. Another corporate stooge who supplied cheap labour for the service industries that are now disastrously collapsing around us. Consumerism was the enemy and it was fueled by false value. In recent years the UK credit rating was downgraded twice. A wise old owl told me years ago never to trust the stock markets and put any savings into gold. People who have worked hard all their lives, paid their taxes etc will be completely ruined in the next few months.

Think the supermarket situation is settling down. Just gone to my local Asda to pick up some essentials for the Mother in Law. Shelves not so empty and got everything she requested. I even managed to find some self control and not attempt to buy everything I saw...go me.

To broaden the truth on the Tesco shite yesterday.
Not just NHS staff were told they could come at that time....Tesco Workers and EX Tesco workers were also allowed to come at the same time.

Getting back to more normal? comments for this thread - we have all seen examples of selfish gits clearing shop shelves, morons in pubs & idiots flocking to beaches, but there are also examples of people helping & good community spirit.

Was talking to one of my neighbours this morning (with acceptable social distancing as I was in the middle of the road - little traffic at the moment - & he was on his drive) - mentioned the issues I have with the charity shop for consumables/equipment for the elderley/disabled that I help run & without prompting offered to help if we needed to move to a purely delivery service (we are still opening for 2 mornings a week at the moment).

Wouldn't have asked him to offer that, but didn't need to.
