Coronavirus

Find that with this much time at home though I have a list of jobs then once I have done one or two, stop at that point as I want something to do tomorrow!

We won't be fully locked down IMO. It'll just be more types of businesses to close, and giving police powers to break up large gatherings.

All the police in the country would be stationed at supermarkets. Loot! Loot!

I think the scenes over the weekend suggest that people are so fucking dense that we really have to do absolute full lockdown to have any chance of not overwhelming the NHS.

I am expecting work will be off the agenda in about forty minutes.

I’d like to think I’m quite an easy going liberal guy. But I’d fully give the police the right to taser any fucker not observing correct procedure. I’d also be open to giving the army permission to flesh wound the nobbers too.

Even in Lockdown the busses and school busses will be running so I’ll be in work tomorrow (with correct PPE)

You mean act appropriately to individuals who may have a contagious virus?

So far they have given us an e-credit
However as we don't know when we will be back (looking at Christmas now)
I'm going to see if they can give us a full refund and May be we can book at a later date
The issue with an e-credit is they give you what you paid and if we decide to come back and the flights are way more expensive we'll have to fork the difference. Crappy thing is we got decent flights and preferred seats too...

I think we will looking to rebook for Jan/Feb next year so might not be an issue, unless they put their prices up to ridiculous levels. Is there a time limit on using the credit note?

flights still incoming from China, Italy and 3 flights a week from Iran still landing in London!

To be honest, footage above Brum town centre today looked like the opening of 28 Days Later.
A lot of people are listening but the press love to exagarate shit too, perhaps the shit rag papers can have some weeks off too.

I believe it to be end of the year to re-book if using the e-credit

Massive drop off in numbers at work today, last week we went down to maybe 50% of the usual people at the office but today I walked past 8 offices before I got to mine and all were empty.

Hoping they don't go full lockdown just yet, hoping they can eek it out a bit longer with people learning to have a bit more restraint and continue with a least a little freedom for as long as we can. Being forced to stay indoors for 12 weeks or whatever period they're indicating at the moment would be torture, I'd be struggling for any work to do within a couple of weeks if sites close and there aren't many jobs I could do around the house without getting things in from elsewhere.

I'm getting a lot of announcements from retailers via e-mails that they are closing tonight.

I wonder if they know something we don't...

We are down to about 50% in the warehouse. Offices are empty.

I would say the 80% wage coverage has made it easier for retailers to shut down and look after its staff rather than insider knowledge.
