Wolves Loan Watch 2025/2026

From the weekend:

Marshall Munetsi - Paris FC (Ligue 1)

Scored for the third game on the spin in a 1-1 draw at Lyon, this one a tap-in from a rebound. Was originally flagged for offside but VAR overturned it. Broke through again late on but his fierce shot was well blocked by the keeper. Subbed off in stoppage time, and Lyon equalised just after ´- would have been some win.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)

Played the full game in a 3-2 defeat at home to Reading. Made it 1-1 by getting on the end of a cross from deep for his second goal of the season. Luton threw the game away, though, by twice demonstrating why League 1 teams shouldn't play it out from the back.

Boubacar Traore - FC Metz (Ligue 1)

Subbed off at HT in a 3-0 loss at Lens.

Nasser Djiga - Rangers (SPL)

Played the full game of Old Firm Scottish Cup QF which ended goalless, and Rangers going out on pens. Djiga was spared the pressure of taking one.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Sheffield United (Championship)

Played 84 minutes of a 1-1 draw at home to Albi*n.

Alfie Pond - Crewe Alexandra (League Two)

Played the full game in a 2-1 loss at Bristol Rovers. Opened the scoring with a bit of luck after his saved shot rebounded back off his leg to loop in, but then Crewe threw it away, conceding two in the last few minutes.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)

Played in a 3-2 defeat at home to Slough.

Josh Gracey - AFC Telford (National League North)

Played in a 4-1 win at home to Alfreton.

On as sub: Sasa came on after 67 minutes of LASK's 3-1 win vs Wolfsberg. Brought down a long ball then jinked a lovely ball through for his team mate to get the third. Fer Lopez came on with 20 minutes to go in a 2-1 defeat at home to Real Madrid.

Not in squad: Doyle, Ojinnaka, Chirewa, Storer

Can't believe you didn't mention hoevers back pass - epically bad

Munetsi played the full game in a 0-0 draw with Gary O’Neil's Strasbourg today.

Hadn't realised that former Italy striker Ciro Immobile had joined Paris FC on 1st February

From this weekend (and some of last mid-week):

Marshall Munetsi - Paris FC (Ligue 1)

Played the full game at in 0-0 at GON's Strasbourg. Headed over from a decent position just before HT.

Fer Lopez - Celta Vigo, La Liga

Played an hour of 1-1 draw at Betis at the weekend after being an unused sub in the 1-1 Europa League draw at home to Lyon on Thursday.

Sasa Kaladjzic - LASK, Austrian Bundesliga

Played the full game in a goalless draw with Hartberg. Was the recipient of a studs-up challenge to the shin, which resulted in a straight red - Sasa was thankfully unhurt. Looked a threat in the air and came close to scoring but the keeper did well to keep it out.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)

Two full games in four days. The first was in a 1-1 draw at Doncaster, in which he lost out on a header that assisted the Donny's goal, then in a 2-1 win at former club Wycombe.

Nasser Djiga - Rangers (SPL)

Played the full game as Rangers won at St Mir - they're now 3 points off leaders Hearts.

Alfie Pond - Crewe Alexandra (League Two)

Played the full game in a 3-0 defeat at home to Walsall. Think Crewe must have thrown him up front as he was nowhere to be seen for the last two goals late on. Booked.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)

Played in a 2-0 win at Horsham then a 2-2 draw ast Bath as Hornchurch edge into second.

Josh Gracey - AFC Telford (National League North)

Played in a 2-1 defeat at Fylde then a 1-1 draw at Scarborough.

On as sub: Ki-Jana Hoever came on after just 25 minutes in a 1-1 draw at Vlues, Tommy Doyle came on for the last 10 minutes of the same game.

Not in squad: Traore, Ojinnaka, Chirewa, Storer

Fer Lopez - Celta Vigo, La Liga

This game he played in the position of J. Gomes. Not bad game, start winning 0-1, but are playing with many subs and Betis its another strong team on la liga. They are playing too Europa League. Ferlo played more to down position because Celta have injured one player (M. Roman, he it's like Pedri but on defensive midfield zone). The first period of FerLo whas good, the second period Celta seem affected last games (Madrid, Lyon) and down the LVL. But 1-1 vs a direct rival for Europa League in Away, with a lot subs not is bad result.

Many fans of celta say Ferlo not are the same, seem more slow, and are out of shape... no have good condition to play. I think that is the problem of Wolves this season.

For next seasson need better fitness coaches on wolves. Or is a simple problem because he played few mins on Wolves.

He barely played two matches' worth of minutes here; I'm not surprised he's a step behind.

I highly doubt he is in our plans for next season, and I feel quite sure that we aren't in his.

And he played Joao Gomes position as a #6? Definitely didn't have that versatility at Wolves...

I don't think its the versatility he's lacking to play the number 6 role in the PL, it's the physicality.

Yes but its because one M.Roman are injured, and celta want rotate players.

Today he play vs Lyon on the Euro League in 15 mins, on the main team, important game for Celta.

Seem he today play more up

Celta fans say the physicality of FerLo this year is worse, and i think are by 2 things:

- Not played a lot on wolves.
- Poor physical preparation of all team during pre-seasson.
Need view the evolution to finish league, to know what are really the problem

Sorry guys, time to view Celta on Euro and FerLo. Look the gk of Lyon, are one of that Gk i say in 2025 on the forum are a good buy:

"About the spanish market, Seem Greif, that GK i say many times are only 3,5M€ a real gift."

"Celta had a great chance! Pablo Durán receives an exceptional pass from Fer López and shoots straight at Greif's chest."

"OH MY GOD, FER LÓPEZ IS SO GOOD!!!!! Delightful control inside the area by Fer López, who looks for the near post, but Greif, once again, proves unbeatable."

Press commentary of the game. Lyon one red card directly in min 22.
