Wolves Loan Watch 2025/2026

Ojinnaka added to the OP.

Also only just realised we've had 18-year-old GK Josh Gracey on loan at Telford for most of the season. He's been number 1 since late September. Record so far:

Mid-week round-up:

Nasser Djiga played the full game and helped Rangers to their 7th straight win in a 1-0 win at home to Ludogorets in the Europa League. They go out despite the win.

Tommy Doyle played 67 minutes of a 2-0 win at Sheff Wed. His corner almost went straight in at the start of the 2nd half, then from the rebound, he swung in a deep cross/shot that the keeper caught but almost carried it over the line.

Hoever played 66 minutes of a 1-0 loss at Saints. Got caught in possession that led directly to the goal, but could argue he was fouled.

Nasta and Gracey were in opposite nets for Telford's 2-1 FA Trophy win at Hornchurch. The latter pulled off a series of fine saves to help the Lilywhites win the tie.

Played in the Sherpa Van at Stockport and my word he was awful. Looked like an outfield player shoved in nets after a red card.

From this weekend:

Tommy Doyle - Birmingham City (Championship)
Played 57 minutes of a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke. Swung in a deep corner that was nodded back across for the goal.

Nasser Djiga - Rangers (SPL)
Played the full game in a 3-0 win at home to Dundee. Booked.

Boubacar Traore - FC Metz (Ligue 1)
Not a happy return to the team, playing the full game in a 5-2 defeat at home to Lyon. That leaves them bottom, 8 points from safety.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)
Played the full game in a 1-0 loss at former club Plymouth. Brilliantly stopped a shot on the line, but then couldn't repeat the trick later for the goal, where the ball went in off his knee.

Alfie Pond - Crewe Alexandra (League Two)
Played the full game in a 1-0 defeat at Notts County. Headed wide from a FK early on. Was lucky to get away with not conceding a second after he went down easily in a tussle with the striker, but the keeper kept it out.

James Storer - Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship)
Played in 1-1 draw at Arbroath. They've now drawn half of their games, with 8 of them finishing 1-1.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)
Played in 2-1 win at Weston.

Josh Gracey - Telford (National League North)
Played in a 2-1 win at home to King's Lynn. Made some important saves, including an impressive double-stop.

On as sub: Temple Ojinnaka made his debut for Shrewsbury, coming on for the last 20 minutes or so of their 5-1 defeat at McDons, while Hoever and Munetsi came on for the last few minutes of their games.

No game: Kaladjzic
