Wolves are for sale and Darlo wants some smooth thighs

There is a new thread on MolMix saying he has been told by a player he's gone. May be backtracking from being duped by the tweet though.

Is anyone concerned that we might end up as merely a feeder club for the Milanese, perhaps at Championship level?

I actually like the thought of us having any players that Milan would be remotely interested in!

How many AC Milan players are still in Euro 2016?

Not worried about that at all. It's definitely what's going to happen but I don't see it as a particularly bad thing. Being given access to AC Milan's scouting system is an incredible privilege for a club our size.

Crossed my mind, with lopertegui having so much success with under 19's and 21's and us having an excellent academy. Also with Mendez involved, bringing players cheapley ftom Spain, Portugal and Italy and if they become successful, sending to Milan's first team or selling them at a decent profit.

You could also add it's very unusual to be buying a top European team and an English championship team in the same week.

I live in hope that Robert Li wants to make Wolverhampton Wanderers a great team again, so I will keep dreaming.

Of course there is a risk but wouldn't Li want AC Milan's youngsters to play at as high as level as possible? I.e. competitively in the prem?

Also, I heard Li was involved in a consortium at AC and was buying Wolves outright, or am I on the wrong track?

Depends what happens. If wolves get into the premier league then Europe Milan will be our feeder club. It works both ways. Either is much much better than lower mid table championship mediocrity IMHO

Tim 2 tweeted my above information...itk

@Shrewsburywolf no the suggestion is that Robin Li would be buying Wolves himself. Milan a group consortium.

Buying Wolves as a whole going concern for Li is cheap as chips in the grand scheme of things.

Think Pozzos at Watford. We get Milan second XI players early doors on loan for freebies. No FFP issues. We get promoted and his personal investment in Wolves looks dirt cheap.

'The suggestion is that'

He hasn't got a fucking clue poor bugger. Forget about sympathy for Jackett, Timbo is very much on the outside looking in here through no fault of his own and is being made to look a right prat.

Seriously pays for the Tim Nash era.

Big chance for him and the paper with new owners.

With the money on offer in the Premiership it would be quite possible for Milan to end up feeding Wolves in a few years. I won't lose too much sleep over the awful prospect of us playing Milans best prospects for a few seasons though.

Same poster says the players have been called in for a meeting tomorrow morning. Sounds like things are almost complete and staff at the club are being informed before the press release goes out. (If it's true, of course.)

If I was a billionaire that's what I would do. Win win.

That's what I was thinking. I'd prefer to be thinking Man City, though.
