A couple of sumptuous goals, but what impressed me as much was the way we controlled that game against what was a more than decent Championship performance by Utd

On that showing up to us how many we lose from here on in & how many clean sheets we achieve.

Agree totally - after tonights match I can now safeply say ''we are the real deal'' or ''the real deal ay we'' The Neves goal tonight was one of the best I've ever seen scored at Molineux and I've seen a few :goal:

Crucially I thought Afobe didn't look at all out of place when he came on.

Watching the second goal again - seeing Costa Cavaleiro & Jota playing one touch football is understandable, but when Doherty joins in (& he's done well this year) then you know that this season is going to end well

Crucially I thought Afobe didn't look at all out of place when he came on.

Will take him a game or two to get fully up to speed, but think that this forward line is even better than he had with Sako & Dicko last time here

Another one of those games where everything clicked perfectly. A fine win.

great win against a very decent Sheff U. those first two goals...!! man, this is a great time to be a wolf. hard to think of a better footballer in a wolves shirt I’ve seen than Neves..again. Afobe looked very hungry, closing down, close to a goal - bodes well.

Loved that, great game and great atmosphere. Voice is ruined.

Thought Costa looked back to his best and Afobe fitted right in. Bonatini looked better than for a good while, Douglas looked better too.

MotM to Coady for a lovely piece of play taking the piss out of fat Leon.

First things first. If Barca had scored that second goal everyone in the studio would have said, "Great goal, even by Barca standards."

Secondly, I have never previously equated football with sex but when that second goal went in I just found myself shouting, "Oh... Oh..." (Like in the days befre there was a teenage daughter in the next room)

And I'm really warming to Alf - more of any attacking threat than Saiss.

Jota - Cav - Neves: everyone will say it for me

MGW - thought he was excellent when he came on. Didn't look out of place at all.

We have options now - someone gets injured (though I wouldn't want that) & it's not the end

Would have been in recent seasons

Majestic. That is the only word I can really put for it. To think people have been panicking recently.

Both of those first two goals are goal of the season contenders in their own right. So much quality, we are extremely lucky. Please people, just sit back and enjoy this.

Afobe looked sharp when he came on, he seemed really keen to make an impact. Leo looked sharp too I thought.

It's really hard to pick a MOTM, so many good performances. I thought Costa was outstanding, he was twisting their defenders inside out. Cav and Jota immense, Neves running the show. Basically everyone. N'Diaye was incredible I thought too. Like Saiss he makes really good runs through the middle to support the forwards but I was really impressed with his shorter passing. It was incisive and he showed his capabilities even when under pressure.

I'm so jealous of anyone that was there!

All I can say is they better bloody well play as well next week when I am there - we owe QPR a thorough hammering

Another great Saturday. South Bank was rocking.

So glad that I set my alarm for 4:00am. Brilliant stuff.

Ugh.

Matt...... Smith... doing the Ch5 highlights. I was looking forward to some Colin Murray enthusiasm.

You're right! Amazingly Ndiaye has one hell of an engine and stamina to burn. God what a ride. Time to open a bottle fuck it. We are going up.

First live game I've been to in a while.

The first two goals were on a different planet. They're so much better when you see them live as oppose to on TV.

I actually thought Sheffield united had more possession than us but our defensive shape was brilliant and they didn't look threatening at all.

We played very well

Neves was unbelievable, but I was really happy with N'Diaye's performance. I said it in the matchday thread, but he is desperate to power forward and join in attacks and to get in the box. One occasion today when Jota broke down the left and hit in a low cross - the only person who'd kept up with him and was in the box was N'Diaye - pressuring their defender to put it out for a corner. Well done, Alf. The shirt is his to lose now - Saiss will have to work hard to get back in and Saiss himself has been brilliant this season. That's what it's all about - when someone has to miss a game, the replacement is rearing to go and makes the position his own. That's why we're so, so lucky to have the strength & depth we have in this squad.

Afobe and Leo both looked sharp when they came off the bench - easy to do that when the game is won and we're 3-0 up, though. Costa looked back to his 'old' self and Jota was again brilliant. Defence was solid whenever they were called upon today. I mentioned Ruddy and my desire for an upgrade on him over the summer, and he had a few shaky moments again today despite not actually having to do anything - my opinion on him hasn't changed, but I'm grasping at straws to criticise today after that performance. We were bloody brilliant.

Neves' goal - one of my favourite Wolves goals of all time I'd say. What. A. Finish.

It's a privilege to watch Neves play for wolves. He's just fantastic, at times can just sit their in awe at how he plays.
