Instead Of Musical Confusion(Itället för Musikförvitrring)

Bob Hund 1999.

Any old Indie fan out there will love this forgotten swedish tune.

Sorry..released in 1996.

Istället För Musikförvirring
Only Swedish stuff I am listening to is ENTOMBED.
Check out Bathory for the really cred metal.
Pioneers in black/viking Metal way back when.
Yes..I missed them at well back int the day..:)

I LOVE Bathory. Sign of the Black Mark is a great album. So is Blood Fire Death.

Now..for something completely different.

Japan.."Ghosts"..1981.

Probably the best single ever made..Barry White "Can´t Get Enough For you Love Babe" is running real close though.

I´m straight..it´s how it is.If not I would have still be madly in love with the David Sylvian of 82.

oPaddy..you know your stuff I´m sure.
Dismember,Opeth,Candlemass,In Flames,Dead by April,Sabathon,Mary beats Jane,In battle etc..might be worthy of an ear if you haven´t heard them before.
From Sweden.

Often have a listen to Sabaton due to the eldest step-son who loves them I've even seen them twice because I had to take him

Opeth are superb. Seen them a couple of times. Candlemass are another belter of a band. I love their early albums.

Amon Amarth are incredible.

Saw them supporting Bodom and they blew them away. By far the best band on the bill.

Another Swedish band I loved was Arch Enemy, haven't listened to much new stuff since Angela left in the mid 2010's.

Damn kids with your distorted guitars

I do think the bands Paddy likes pick their album names from a random word generator. They all have a combination of the same 20 words - blood, war, death, murder, siren, banshee, fire etc

I got into Royal Republic last year after a couple of their songs played on my Spotify

Saw Heilung live earlier. Absolutely incredible. Feels reductive to call it a gig, more a performance (or a ritual, as they refer to it)

Def won't be for everyone (!) but delighted I got to see/hear it

Just spent a fine evening listening to Tom Hingley belting out the old Inspiral classics. Brilliant brilliant show.
