One year too much.
You simply don't sign a coach for 6 months unless you're paying 18 months of salary - which would be counter productive.

I think even GON's original contract was for 2 years!

I'd imagine it has a break clause for both parties after 6 months any way. I doubt either party would want him managing in the Championship

3 wasn't it?

Al Shabab only announced his departure late last night. We wouldn't announce him while he was still technically their manager. Expecting a snazzy video of his arrival this morning.

Think this is the first since McGhee in 1995 we've taken from another club? Oh no, I'd forgotten we took Saunders from Doncaster too

I don't recall tbh, but I'm absolutely certain it was more than one year...

The notion that a club in our predicament could attract a manager of credibility with a six month contract is laughable though.

"One year too much", not in the real world.

Just watched his Spurs presser, I know I'm getting over excited but the more I see/hear from him, the more I like the cut of his jib.
He answers questions from the journos very well, even the stupid ones. The way he describes how he wants to play and what's important in games gives me confidence.
Thought it was interesting what he said about his style and getting a Wolves identity, it's not his identity, it's Wolves identity, which suggests to me although he has his own ideas about how he wants to play, he realises he has to build a style that suits the players he has at his disposal. I mean it's hardly radical but it certainly gives me hope.
I know he's a bit of a journeyman but I think he's a breath of fresh air around the place.
