Blackburn 0-2 Wolves (FA Cup 4th Round): Verdict Thread

What? Marshmallow euphoria aside, he was fine at absolute worst, I thought. Did nothing worth being buried over no matter what the pedigree IMV.
He was ok. Wasnā€™t bad. Did fine.

Will find out a lot more about him in due course

The fact is that Bellegarde was influential for the team in seeing 2 victories in a row for Wolves! I am not a massive fan of him but Vitor has seen & exploited his strengths. Can we try & be positive please?
He wasn't anywhere near influential today. He did alright and that was it. Which is miles better than he used to play out on the wing.

Iā€™m glad you clarified it was Nala from the Lion king. Thereā€™s so many other Nalaā€™s it couldā€™ve been šŸ¤”
I suppose I wanted to clarify that it wasnā€™t a case of the Alucards.

Even if he really is that much better as a CM, he was probably never turning in consecutive 9/10 performances tbf.

All Bellegarde has to do this season is be a solid back up option to Andre/Gomes.

Doesnt need to be the stand out player just a nice option that means we all don't say fucks sake when the team is announced.

Fair to say MM is going to play in the positions we have been using Bellegarde in previously.

Yep.

Long term the likes of Doherty, Bellegarde, Doyle, Sarabia and Guedes aren't what we want. Arguably Sa too. But do us a job for the next 12 weeks, ta.

Bueno cannot do a job so he can do one.

I donā€™t think you can expect him to be as influential every game. As you said he was fine today. Il take fine

Good day out. Thought Guedes was pretty poor TBH, but he didnā€™t get long in the central position where he looks better. Sarabiaā€™s got some sht on here but we looked more threatening when he came on, and Cunha should be burying that header from his cross. Clearly Sarabia did his own bit of missing a chance he should have buried too. Andre good when he came on. Bueno terrrrrrrrible.

Yeah I thought he was rubbish tbh. Maybe a bit harsh as I'm not a fan of the signing but he seems a bit Dave Edwards to me. Always looks like he's falling over.
Extreeeemely harsh. Sounds like youā€™ve made your mind up on him already, though.

I had a picture in my head of what heā€™d be like based on some comments on here & the stats wheel. First thing he did after coming on was slide a lovely ball through toā€¦ Guedes, maybe? - splitting their defence open. Hadnā€™t expected that. Got himself in to some dangerous positions and flashed a header wide - then a few minutes later had that effort from the edge of the box that went narrowly wide. I thought he broke up play multiple times and won headers.

Sure, heā€™s chaotic, but heā€™s been here 2 days, ffs. ā€œRubbishā€, he was not. Trying hard to impress Iā€™d say is more likely.

Sarabia - yep, from me. He's one of those meaningless footballers who is very fortunate to earn a living playing football at this level. Yes, he has some skill but he's not truly in love with the game or our club. IMO, he's simply a player going through the motions who remains unaffected no matter whether he wins or loses. He's not alone in this regard though but everything wrong with the modern game as far as I'm concerned. I'll be very glad when time has moved on and so has he.

Bournemouth away is rotten draw and oh look city get another kind draw
