One year too much.
You simply don't sign a coach for 6 months unless you're paying 18 months of salary - which would be counter productive.

I think even GON's original contract was for 2 years!
 
I'd imagine it has a break clause for both parties after 6 months any way. I doubt either party would want him managing in the Championship

Al Shabab only announced his departure late last night. We wouldn't announce him while he was still technically their manager. Expecting a snazzy video of his arrival this morning.

Think this is the first since McGhee in 1995 we've taken from another club? Oh no, I'd forgotten we took Saunders from Doncaster too

I don't recall tbh, but I'm absolutely certain it was more than one year...

The notion that a club in our predicament could attract a manager of credibility with a six month contract is laughable though.

"One year too much", not in the real world.
