I do think some are going a bit OTT. Not having a go at you specifically Syco, but if you put Traore up front he'd look as bad.

Yeah I said all that last night about him being out of position and early days but just looking at his basic skills I'm not convinced he'll be that much more effective in midfield. Really hope Im wrong, happy to eat humble pie

He has a very different skillset (yes, I know) from all of our other midfield options, so he may well find an effective niche but, as others have said, the thick end of £20m for that is pretty steep

It doesn’t matter if he’s out of position, or it’s early days.

If you can’t kick, trap, pass, head a football, you don’t really belong in a Premier League football team.
