Vitor Pereira's Inbox

Sounds like the compensation for Pereira was a measly €1m.

Which I'm sure was music to Jeff's ears, especially if Pereira himself paid it as reported.
He paid it himself? Are they going to make him buy a season ticket to get in on match day as well! LOL! Looking at his track record, I think the season ticket will last longer!

No denying it's a pressing need, but who's going to sell a first eleven goalie AND who's going to buy our two "starters"?

It's not going to happen. Honestly need a need person in asap to replace Hobbs so they can clean up the mess which is our squad. I'd also like a magic carpet to commute to work on.
Added to that and not unique to the goalkeeping position, but who would want to come if we 8 or 9 points adrift which is very feasible come January? The overlap on the Venn Diagram of those wanting to come and being good enough to make a sizeable difference this season would be tiny.

Probably double our January budget unfortunately

The report was he would happily pay it himself to get in the PL.

It's a great bit of PR for him but he won't pay it himself.
Back in Jorge's loving arms now so money being spent is fine with Jeff.

Re selling the keepers: Simple, yer buy one yer get one free

Hmm sounds closer to mad Walt than Nuno does this appointment, hopefully I’m wrong but I’d trust Tim Vickery with his opinion.

He has made himself known instead for a tactically flexible approach, describing it as a 'transformer structure' which allows his teams to change system during games.

Six things for me:

1) Get in a new centre half next month. Ideally two. Doesn't matter if they're Mendes clients or not, we currently have Toti (not a terrible squad player, but that's all he should be), Bueno (weak, diffident and slow) and Dawson (looks like a season too far for him). That's appalling for a credible Premier League club.

2) As above, get a keeper too. Sa is a wanker and can't be trusted, Johnstone looks stiffer than Jacob Rees-Mogg doing the salsa.

3) Find a way to make our central midfield work. Gary O'Neil couldn't do this but surely you should be able to make something out of André, Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina and Tommy Doyle?

4) Get some control of games. For nigh on 18 months now we have watched games become absolute chaos. It's no good. You'll concede too many, you'll forever be chasing games.

5) Do your best to get rid of utter shite like Doherty, Guedes, Bellegarde and Hwang who should never be playing for Wolves ever again.

6) Sort the discipline out. We get players booked all too readily and we're now on a run of three games where players have been randomly kicking off with fans or opposition players/staff at FT. It's a dreadful, dreadful look.

We don't do all that as a minimum then we're going down. So away you go and good luck.
Ha ha the JRM salsa thing made me laugh! The rest I largely agree with. In summary of our season - both goalkeepers are rubbish, defence is utterly rubbish. Midfield can play attractive but are lightweight and get rolled over far too easily. Up front Cunha has done well and Strand half decent but we are too often chasing games. Of late of course, discipline has gone out of the window and there seems to be something very wrong with the culture at the club. Certainly the bond of trust between club management and fans that Nuno built so successfully, has been frittered away. A very disunited pack at the moment for sure. Lets hope this new guy brings a much needed breath of fresh air.

Does he switch it around after 15 mins to bamboozle the opposition?

Sounds like more chaos and more soap opera and lack of results. He won’t be GON bad but don’t see him getting close to us surviving.

Fair enough, but for me we've gotta be positive at this stage man, or we may as well pack up 😅

I'm gonna remain glass half full until I have something concrete that involves Wolves to shit on him for

I got pooh-poohed yesterday for suggesting he's going to be one big drama. It's fairly obvious he's going to be 50/50 good or a nightmare.
