His performance Saturday summed up his time here for me. When he came on he definitely improved us as he added quality and was a genuine threat, and that’s in terms of what he actually did rather than as some abstract concept. Doyle then failed to play him in twice, taking on improbable shots instead. Perhaps the first time forgivably, but to do it again straight afterwards was poor. Straight after that Guedes basically sulked and stopped doing the basics at all (and he was standing right in front of me). He failed to track his man so much that, finally making up for it, he barged into him from behind - I might well be wrong but it looked like he got away with what could have been a game changing free kick / pen. That would have been a direct result of his slackness.

So much of what’s going on with players at Wolves is hard to judge given the lack of competent leadership and coaching. Guedes has got something to offer but it feels unlikely he’ll ever deliver consistently. Sarabia has the touch of class needed to change games, but likely he’s already too far gone. Needing to find something from the current squad, and with a Portuguese manager coming in, maybe Guedes gets more game time however unlikely it is to pay off?

We've got too many so/so, stealing a living players at wolves, that cannot be good for the dressing room and need to be fucked off. In that i include Ran and Hwang along with the obvious bunch.
Do that get in two or three needed plsyers in the right positions, and we have, along with a no nonsense Periera, a decent chance.

Almost certainly.

I think I like this move. He is clearly a complete firebrand, but he is going to be not exactly averse to putting a rocket under a few arses in the dressing room which would be good as clearly GONe was too meek to deal with the players.

How he will co-exist with Shi and Hobbs I am less sure about. But I think Uncle Jorge will be arranging January already, and Jeff will just have to go with it. Hobbs must be feeling a little insecure.
