Vitor Pereira's Inbox

Almost certainly.

I think I like this move. He is clearly a complete firebrand, but he is going to be not exactly averse to putting a rocket under a few arses in the dressing room which would be good as clearly GONe was too meek to deal with the players.

How he will co-exist with Shi and Hobbs I am less sure about. But I think Uncle Jorge will be arranging January already, and Jeff will just have to go with it. Hobbs must be feeling a little insecure.
O'Neil was definitely too nice to the players , almost certainly due to his inexperience . He wanted them to like him all the time . Liking someone and respecting someone are two totally different things .
It does not mean that our new man will work , but it gives us a chance , a greater chance than if we had stuck with O' Neil .
Shi has little option but to stand aside for now while transfers happen .

Having said all that , it will take time for Pereira to find his feet , and time is something he does not have unfortunately .

Seems we are a little featured on the radio with this news.

I feel filthy but I am agreeing with Chris Sutton...

Stephen Warnock is clearly either blind or a fool if he thinks our problem is we have no goals in us. Talking absolute shite there.

Sutton has immediately pointed out that the problem is at the other end. He is a dick, but he can clearly read a league table rather better than Warnock.

Warnock is probably one of the worst pundits, no research whatsoever.
Says we have no goals in us and Cunha can't score, only the occasional worldy. Erm, Cunha scored plenty last season, has 8 from 16 games so far this season and Larsen also has 6.

Warnock got booked at Molineux for arguing with the ref that Doyle was offside - Doyle had received the ball direct from a goal kick.

Warnock clearly still knows fuck all about the game that has given him so much.

Hi Vitor, welcome to Molineux, please sh!t us a miracle. Love from Dairve and the boys. xxx

PS winning at Leicester would be a great start.

PPS have you ever been to Wolverhampton? Why do I ask? Erm, no reason!

I don't think he sees out an 18 month deal so glad that's the length given.

Squad-wise I'm not sure who comes in Jan that will have a huge effect. I guess we need another Craig Dawson like signing, and instead of another Lemina in the middle, someone out wide. Goalkeeping is something I don't think is fixed in winter, alas.

we have to fix goalkeeper.
Sa is iffy, but Johnstone is a fucking statue.
I'm 73, and i've got more reflexes than that twat, and i move faster.

Sounds like the compensation for Pereira was a measly €1m.

Which I'm sure was music to Jeff's ears, especially if Pereira himself paid it as reported.

No denying it's a pressing need, but who's going to sell a first eleven goalie AND who's going to buy our two "starters"?

It's not going to happen. Honestly need a need person in asap to replace Hobbs so they can clean up the mess which is our squad. I'd also like a magic carpet to commute to work on.

Surely they haven't had him actually pay it himself. I keep thinking nothing will surprise me any more so I don't know why I'm saying surely
He's clearly well off and wants to say he's coached in the PL, wouldn't be surprised if he did help pay off part of it.

Fair play to him. Pathetic though on our part if true. They could have put season ticket prices up next season the amateurs. Sorry we said they would be froze but we had to pay out almost 1 million pound to get the new manager in!

I haven't read anything saying he actually paid it, I think it was just someone online saying that he was so keen he would pay it himself.

Bear on a total Vitor misinformation roll now :D

Not hard for me to believe that he’ll have paid off Al-Shabab himself and we’ll remunerate him for it directly.
