Good for them, about time more money went down the pyramidDerby are getting £4.75m from that swizz
Yeah I'd say this would be one positive element of these inflated PSR workaround transfers - clubs further down the chain unexpectedly picking up decent sell on feesGood for them, about time more money went down the pyramid
It's a shame for Stearman that he's not 10 years younger. Imagine what he could have been worth now.Kilman worth £35m, Barca want Faes. I don't know what a centre half is any more
How do you prove it's a swap deal though? None officially have been between PL clubs so far. What you could do is go back to the old tribunal system and say you paid £19m, but for FFP purposes we'll give you £3m reliefThe Premier League could stop all of these bullshit deals for academy players by stating that any swap deals have to be amortised over one year.
Hasn’t the Villa Everton one gone through yet?How do you prove it's a swap deal though? None officially have been between PL clubs so far. What you could do is go back to the old tribunal system and say you paid £19m, but for FFP purposes we'll give you £3m relief
It's gone through but not as a swap, Villa paid £10m for Dobbin, Everton a bit less than that for Iroegbunam. It's very dodgy, but tbh the PL have brought it on themselves, if it were Wolves I'd applaud it.Hasn’t the Villa Everton one gone through yet?
I suppose an easier work around would be to state that players with under X amount of appearances or 1st team minutes have a 100% year one amortisation rule.
Villa
If the player is wanted that badly it wouldn’t stop the buying club from paying the fee.
They’re owed one from their last season on the Premier LeagueLeicester trying to avoid the points deduction
