They do seem to want to get rid of a midfielder who can also play CB.
Belgium international and will probably take a loss on the £13m they paid for him...might be worth a look...
Such a strange signing.
They have options at centre half now with Mings, Carlos, Konsa and Torres but I don't think that it necessarily improves there starting XI.
4 CBs! And at least 3 of them better than what we have (don’t know much about Pau Torres other than the name).

Seems a big fee considering he's off the back of a poor season, also not really sure where they plan to use him.

Switching system I assume, three in midfield rather than just Casemiro and Eriksen.

Still don't see how that works for them. Last season you tended to have Fernandes floating ahead of that pair, you're going to have to push him wide into a front three to get an extra midfielder in and that just seems stupid. Also would have Mount as too flaky to drop in to a more conventional midfield role at this point.

Just seems like a player they don't need to me.

Think you'll see Mount and Eriksen directly competing for that role deeper. That's mounts best position for me.

Celtic's Jota the latest to jump on the Saudi train

I know it’s false equivalence but not a chance in hell is Mount worth that much more than Ruben.

English player plus super 6 player will always bump the price up on a player.

Tim Weah off to Juve.

Nailed on to move to Chelsea for about 5x more than he's worth next season.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more noise around Harvey Barnes

With seeing the (crazy) values of Rice, Madison and Mount, what would you expect Barnes to be worth?
In comparison I'd say £35-40M. Mad as it seems.

Should be a good move for him tbf. Pulisic and Musah look like a good shot to be headed to Milan which is good for them, and Pepi to PSV. Like the moves for all of them tbh. Hope Slonina goes on loan somewhere also. We could always use another GK here...

Would rather have Matty Turner than Gaga if I'm honest.

Yeah he would be good to lol. I think Steffen is going to get loaned out again, but never been that enamored with him tbh.

Steffen has made a career out of half decent instincts and above average footballing ability. For being such a good athlete he's absolutely crap at controlling the penalty area, IMO.

If @Deutsch Wolf is mad at Sá now, I can only imagine how he'd feel after a season of Steffen in the sticks.
