Nice one Slink, got my assessment this month too.

Not too bad finishing, i had that as my practice one.

Yeah, I know what I want to do with it. Probably work on it when coaching my u12s.

Nice one Slink, good luck Louie.

It's good that a couple of young blokes who know a lot about football are getting involved - it's what the game needs. You both clearly have enthusiasm and you understand the game, what we want is less bawlers and shouters and more people who can actually teach kids the right way. I am hoping to do my UEFA C badge this summer.

No more Uni coursework after 5 years!

Just finished my last piece...just one exam in May and I'm freeeee!

Thanks mate, and nice stuff with the UEFA C badge. Do you plan to take on a team next year? You should, I find it really enjoyable and rewarding. It's a great sight when you've taught them something in training and they repeat it in the game, or if a specific kid improves beyond what you ever thought they could..

I've just registered for the Youth Modules 1 + 2, which should be interesting and give me some more ideas.

Just read this thread, (as you do on a Monday morning before work!). Chuffed for you Dan, great to come out the other side I would imagine.

What are you going to do with your new coaching badge Slink and congratulations. Louie, are you looking forward to your assessment?

Yes, meant to ask that Slink, do you coach a side already?

And yes Johnny, I am though a little nervous ha! I've been waiting a while for it.

I'm happy at being able to log onto TWF again. Though it may not last as work have seemingly lifted the restrictions for the time being - and no broadband at my new home til the 17th April.

Massively agree with this, we need a big change in this country but unfortunately while i was glad i passed my course it also disappointed me that it seems like they pass pretty much everyone who puts in the effort and some of them quite clearly haven't got much of an idea.

Cheers Johnny. May aswell answer you both, i work in the community programme at Walsall already so it helps with that although i may only be there until the end of August depending on a few things. I would like to stay on there i think at the minute if the opportunity arrises.
