Just found out that my son has been allocated a place in the school we had down as first choice.

The same primary school my wife and I both went to which is quite nice. One of the best schools in the region too (we're very lucky that Stourbridge is excellent for schools).

Really pleased about it.

Even though our daughter is only 13 months old we are already thinking about schools. We will have to move as we dont want to send her to school in Tipton so are planning where we should be looking to move. Hopefully we can move back to Penn and she can go to my old primary school - that would be awesome!

We haven't actually looked at Stourbridge for some reason. We have looked at Penn & Wombourne so far but will definitely check out Stourbridge now!

The best schools in the Dudley borough are all within walking distance of where we live. Dead lucky in that respect.

I also live a 2 minute walk from the train station.

And it's a 5 minute drive to the countryside.

It's ace.

Pedmore and Oldswinford are usually around the top of the ratings and I think Hamdingle is up there too.

Pedmore normally sits at the very top. It's quite small though.
