The Race to be Relegated with Wolves, 24/25 Thread

I hope you're right, but Fulham are a good side and Spurs will improve now they are getting players back fit.

Losing away at Ipswich would be bad, really bad.

I think we’ll be ok if we avoid defeat at Ipswich. It will be very tough as they’ll go into the game knowing it is a must win game.

Bournemouth 0
Fulham 3
Everton 1
Southampton 3
West Ham 1
Ipswich 0
Spurs 3
United 0
Leicester 3
City 0
Brighton 0
Palace 0
Brentford 1

That's what I'm thinking, leaves us on 34. Should be enough to stay up. Think we beat Spurs at home, they're crap.
I’d be delighted with 34 points. No way are Leicester or Ipswich getting that many.

5 of our last 7 games will be against teams who will probably have nothing to play for (Leicester & City being the exceptions), you would be hoping to pick up decent points against them

Eyeballed it. Our predicted scores seem reasonable enough?
Agreed. I am optimistic about us within reason ie that we need key players to be fit. But, we all know that.
My eyeballs popped out too on the forecast gap to Ipswich and Leicester. There again they are similarly at risk and I guess their squads will tire like Luton.

Yeah, I think that is the sober forecast for Ipswich and Leicester. We’re likely to look at the worst case scenario that sees those guys going on winning runs that neither the form guide or the eye test suggest is likely. It’s Ipswich that seem to have potential to upset the form book / logic, but that could just be noise from pundits latched on to talking them up.

We could do with Spurs reaching the Europa League quarter-final.

If they do, our game is sandwiched between the two fixtures (so will be a Sunday for anyone planning in advance).

That would be brilliant for us. There's huge pressure on Ange to win a trophy and he'd be actively encouraged to play a reserve side against us from his own fans.

I know they still have some good reserves if everyone's back, but it would be a great opportunity for us.
