The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

I'm not sure I dislike Albion enough to wish Owen Shorts on them. Blues and McDons, definitely.

He's an absolute arsehole and a shocking manager.

However, for balance, I do dislike them sufficiently enough for this.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink leaves the Cobblers.

How a manager who was an absolute disaster in MLS keeps get mentioned in English football absolutely baffles me.

They have absolutely no chance of appointing before the summer, hence why Moore has got the final games. And as a Championship club they are going to be rather less of a draw than their fans seem to think.

I sense that the next few seasons are going to be rather enjoyable.

I fucking love the understatement here x

Only teams I hate enough to wish Owen Coyle or Dean Saunders upon them would be McDons and Blouse also. Quite a few Albion fans have said that the only time their team played with pride this season was when Megson was caretaker, let them have him back.

Couple of the comments calling him out on that, and one comment saying Albion need someone who can bring back the Albion way of football

Biggest myth in football the Albion way, they played for a few years under Atkinson and that’s it. They don’t mind pragmatic football when it comes to the crunch and they had Megson on god status in 01/02.
Fans of certain clubs wheel out comments like that to make their club sound more classy than it actually is.

I suppose Mowbray was like an even more idealistic Brendan Rodgers. Talked even more shite as well.

Any team with a view of their 'identity' soon release it when they are getting success. Albion's lack of beautiful free flowing football wasn't a problem under Megson in the Championship or Hodgson because it was successful. Wolves' tradition is 442 with out and out wingers, we aren't playing that now, is anyone complaining, of course not. If we are playing the same formation next year and we are in the bottom 3 they will be crying out for 442. It's the way it is.

Makes you stop and think a little doesn't it?

Looking highly likely that Roberto Mancini will be the next Italy boss as he falls out with Zenit and flies into Rome for talks today

Apparently Mick has left Ipswich with immediate effect following their win over Barnsley tonight!!

No shock there really. Pointless to hang around

As he said, caretaker of his own job

He was treated very poorly there, shit team, no money and pretty much non-existent youth players. Might put a few quid on them to do down next season.
