The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

Sevilla sack Eduardo Berizzo....Just 7 days after he returned from cancer surgery.

Merry Christmas Eddy!

Jesus, who would manage in Spain? They're in 5th place!

Daniel Farke must be starting to come under some pressure at Norwich. They're not going to go down, but he doesn't seem to give them any consistency and their home record is terrible (Only Burton and Sunderland have won less).

12 goals in 12 home games, and 10 goals in 11 away games. So the football can't have even been too good either.

I remember Norwich fans crowing at the start of the season that they had the best foreign manager in the league too!

Their squad doesn't look all that great. I'm not sure they could finish top 2 with that group regardless.

The Norwich fan who did his 5 worst managers in the Division and put Nuno in that as he had no experience at this level and then put Farke in the top 5. Top work.

James Kent. I remember because he had the same surname as me.

I tweeted him at the time when he wrote that nonsense. Maybe I'll have to tweet him again.

Oh my God your surnames Kent, that name I've been calling you all these years is very similar :)

I inadvertently guessed your surname yesterday when I saw the photo with the baubles.[emoji6]

They did. Seems a very strange time to do it, although they are extremely inconsistent. Their last 8 games form guide reads WLWLLWLW

The new go to rumour for a manager.....Pulis lined up for Boro

Makes sense, Karanka played in a not too dissimilar way, so the players will be comfortable with it. Depends whether he's prepared to go to the Championship, it's difficult to see him getting a Prem job this year as Swansea don't appear interested. All the teams at the bottom have already binned their managers.

I'd say it was a different kind of tedium under Karanka. Death by pointless possession in sterile areas. Pulis teams regularly struggle to have 40% possession.

I meant more the onus on the defence and keeping it tight with clean sheets rather than the out and out style.
