The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

Don't think Hughes is going to be sacked yet. West Ham and West Brom at home the next two fixtures. Do badly in those and he's gone.

Stoke apparently will sack Hughes and hire Pulis next week.

I honestly thought this was a joke, and that Alan had finally cottoned on to the British sense of humour. I mean, Christ, even if you were Stoke, why would you?

Pulis over Hughes?? That would be horrible for Stoke, they have had a tough time this season but have developed to actually play football under Hughes. Pulis doesnt know how to pass a football only know how to park a bus. They would be back in the 80's then again

Surely Hughes is on borrowed time now? Stoke were appalling yesterday in a game they really had to win.

I’m surprised they haven’t sacked him after yesterday, I was fully expecting to wake up to the headline that he’d gone. They’re in serious trouble that’s for sure.

Stoke, Albion and Bournemouth to go down and we go up would be a beautiful season.

McDons down to League Two please

Stoke City are not a club that often sacks managers, so I expect Hughes will be given the Christmas period to start getting results.

Blues are bottom, and we have more than 3 times the points they have.
Fucking LOVE this season :)

Had to be now, really. Give the new man at least a chance at bringing in someone he likes in January.

Pulis will probably get it. And it'll be awful.

Hmmm - I'm not sure Pulis will take it. Very VERY real risk of blowing his never relegated stat as Swansea look in the deepest of deep shit.
