The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

I hope the Albion board do the sensible thing and allow Tony Pulis to continue his excellent work at the Hawthorns...

A manager with some desire to succeed would do well with the squad he has.....so yep I agree with you Frank

Needs to stay there - would really be happy to see a relegation on his CV

Especially as he brags about how he's never had one,if they do keep him on,and they look like going down, reckon he'll quit just to keep that record intact

Oh that would be Christmas come early. Baggies down, us up and Blues to league one. Please Santa I have been good and not slagged Xmas off too much this year!

I only want Albion to go down if we go up. I have no desire to have another PL Black Country Derby as it's such a vile atmosphere.

Seeing Bolton and Blues go down to L1 whilst we win the league would be glorious though.

Yes. 2nd to uys going up must be Bolton going down. 3rd blues going down 4th wba coming down. If carlsberg did football

Personally i want Albion to stay up, i love derby games. Yes it attracts the bellend fans even more than usual but the atmosphere is electric. Plus i would love for us to dick them a couple of times just so they would stop with the 5-1 thing which is dreadful.

Gutted. Was loving the work he was doing down there.

They now have Megson in temporary charge :icon_lol:

Please please please appoint Megson

That or Saunders

Emotional return for Craig Snakespeare

They could do with getting someone in who's never been relegated, someone like,I dunno, tony pulis maybe?
Seriously I think they'll go down the fat Sam route

Michael O'Neill is favourite. 3 NI players in their squad, plays a style that would make sense for the team they have. Not the flowing football they believe they are entitled to though

Agreed has Shakespeare written all over it how long before Albion go down?

Could have seen Coleman possibly getting the gig if he hadn't already consigned himself to relegation from the Championship this year

Megson in temporary charge screams they dont have anything concrete IMO. They must surely know the last time he managed was 5 years ago and in League One. What possibly points to him being capable.

I'd have given it McCauley, senior pro, well respected by his peers, career winding down and has his coaching badges. Megson will be a continuation of what they've already had.

Not that I'm complaining of course.
