Forest Green Rovers lost to Tranmere today but are still top of the Conference, which makes me plenty happy.

But more importantly, Lincoln City won again. The Imps are now just six points behind FGR with a game in hand.

I went to Eastleigh v Forest Green on Tuesday. Forest Green were terrible!

I know Forest Green have a bit of money behind them, not sure about Eastleigh.

Football wasn't exactly attractive (though Eastleigh could string a few passes together when they wanted - which made it all the more frustrating to watch) but then again there were five goals including a last minute super sub winner!

Eastleigh have recently appointed Chris Tpdd as manager. He took over from Zrichard Hill after a poor start to the season. I I think they have one of the highest playing budgets in the league, so would be expecting to be in the promotion race.

Tranmere signed Gary Taylor-Fletcher yesterday which is an unbelievable signing at that level. I expect Tranmere to walk that league now.

Well done Stoke City.

As part of our partnership with Stoke City FC, the Club are offering a fantastic ticket offer for their Premier League home fixture against Watford FC, devised to allow as many youngsters and volunteers from grassroots football to attend as possible.

Just got the sacking & appointment in time them - might give Steve Evans a bit longer than otherwise depending on how long he is disqualified for this time.

When they signed James Constable from Oxford last summer, he signed for more than double what Oxford were offering. Eastleigh have pumped cash into players wages for a couple of years now

Which is why a number of teams at that level who are still not fully pro will never achieve promotion.

Follow Woking as lived there for many years (& watched them when there were children around & I had no money to do anything else) & they will will do no more than short term good runs (indeed were the first to beat FGR this season after they had had 9 straight wins) but won't be able to sustain it over a full season.

The FC United Board thought fans would like to share our frustration and bemusement at the request we received on Friday 16 Oct 2015 from the BBC, via the FA, to move the kick off time of our FA Cup game against Sporting Khalsa to enable a “brand new BBC Mobile Match of The Day Live experience”.

THEY SAID NO.

They said they were amenable to a moved fixture time and recognised the contract they had signed when first entering the FA Cup in 2007. What they objected to was TV Presenters in the dugout, miked up managers and coaches and interviews with substitutes as they were warming up. All of which are ridiculous and should be binned.

Buckingham sues on stalled stadium project

Buckingham Group is pursuing a winding up order to get the £4.8m it is owed for the stalled East Stand project at Northampton Town Football Club.

Thought this was very apt by the Bayern fans:
