That Merc is beautiful. It looks magnificent in the shakedown pictures.

It doesn't look that orange on the BBC article about the launch.

Looks like Ted Kravitz has gotten the tin tack from the new head of Sky after a falling out, with Chandok his replacement.

Bit gutted at that really as he was one of the best things about the coverage, especially the Notebooks, and Chandok is just bland. I haven't even bothered watching the testing thanks to the lack of the Notebook roundup. I tried the review show but it was rubbish.

Looks like a bonus point is being introduced for next season. Finish in the top 10 and get the fastest lap and that point is bagged

I’ve seen the first two as well, it’s really well made and there’s some fantastic footage. I think it’s probably better that there’s no Merc or Ferrari involvement so we get to see some of the midfield stuff in more detail.

The bits involving Christian Horner and his Renault equivalent have been quite interesting, definitely no love lost between them, particularly the bit where they attend the press conference to announce Red Bull going elsewhere for their engines. I got the impression from Mark Webber's book that he saw Horner as being a bit of a spineless pushover, certainly seemed that way when he bumped into the Renault chief just after they'd decided to ditch them as engine supplier, could barely even look at him! Also found it funny in the clip of him at home how little interest his good lady seemed to have in his working life, couple of token questions and seemingly no interest in the answers he gave.

Most people come across really well in it though, Ricciardo always seems like a good honest, down to earth bloke who some how ended up in a completely different world and the Haas team boss seems a decent guy too.

I've only seen the first two and nothing particularly juicy so far. It's a bit "glossy PR" outside of the behind the scenes stuff though.

Ted has a new show on Sky - F1 Midweek Debrief,

So not sacked but still no word if he is part of the race weekend with his Notebook show etc (The new rumour is he has stepped down from it to spend time with his family)

I don't like Ted, he's a buffoon.

Also his real name is Theodore Slotover.

Apparently he will be at 14 of the 22 races, or so it's been said.

I can't tell you my name, or where I work, because my team would not want me to be doing this. F1 is a secretive world. So let's just call me The Secret Aerodynamicist.

Has Dave Kitson moved away from football now?

Looking at P1 & P2 today, the Ferrari are pulling a Merc trick with the engine turned right down. No way they are that much slower than the Merc and only a tad quicker than a Sauber. For all the stuff Seb has come out with, it will be a shock if they don't take pole tomorow
