The Definitive TWF Worst Wolves XI Thread

My shortlist (not so short) for this position is 17 players currently, and there are a couple who haven't made my list that have already been voted for. I know we have had some crap over the last 20 years but I'm surprised at how much.

I am fast coming to the conclusion that Wolves in the last 20 years have a transfer policy and a signing policy that has a success rate of , at best , around 20%. We have not got near the forwards and already my list is about 8 strong, all really good candidates, all from the last 20 years, and all signed for tidy money!

I've got my crap striker list prepped and ready to go. It's a corker.

If you go back to when Sir Jack took over (27 years now) then examine how many players we've actually made a profit on (not counting yoot like Keane and Lescott) then it's terrifying. Now granted, our modus operandi hasn't generally been to develop players and punt them on for more money like say, a Barnsley do, but we've had so, so, so much waste.

Anderton
Corica
Samways
Sedgley
Ferguson
The Eggman

Could easily add another 6 that would be worthy.

Corica
Ferguson
Quashie
Silas
Rosa
O'Hara

The Next Patrick Vieira
Corica
Ferguson
Atkins
Saville
Anderton

Ferguson
Seyi
Corica
Doumbia
Gibson
Atkins

I presume we dodged a bullet when DJ said Kim Kallstrom wasn't good enough for us...

Just like when McGhee said we were going to sign "better players than Alex Rae"...

Darren Ferguson
Steve Corica
Seyi George Olofinjana
Jamie O'Hara
Eggert Jonnson
George Saville

Nigel Quashie - park footballer and a lazy, lazy bastard. How is he not featuring more?!
The Egg Jonsson
George Saville
Steve Corica
Darren Ferguson
Mark Atkins

I've not included O'Hara because at least he scored a couple of decent goals for us.

I still haven't forgiven him for that. Kallstrom was amazing in Football Manager at the time, if you could buy him.

Taking this one down to just six is utterly impossible. I'm somewhere around 20 in the "long list" at the moment.

.

As he only played 3 away games not many will have seen him play for us. You are clearly one of the lucky ones.

As I never witnessed him in a Wolves top, I can't vote for him

Jimmy Kelly
Darren Ferguson
Steve Corica
Tongo doumbia
Jens Do we
Nigel Quashie

I'd make all six Jimmy Kelly if I could

I'd completely forgotten about Jimmy Kelly.
