The Definitive TWF UK & Ireland XI (1970 - present) - ST VOTING OPEN

Ryan Giggs
Gareth Bale
Damien Duff

Giggs
Heighway

Honorable mention to Bale but Heighway was class in the team of the 70s. Gordon Hill , John Barnes and Peter Barnes also considered as well as Waddle. Best just has to be in the team

Giggs couldn't be arsed to turn out for his Country so he can do one...

Still got over 60 caps...and it was mainly friendlies that he missed. He didn't pull out of many competitive games. And he was nearly 34 when he retired from international football, way older than Shearer was when he called it a day with England.

Dave Wagstaff

(Should have held back Best for the left given the Beckham love in as he could play anywhere up front - a team without him in somewhere would be a travesty
Also toyed with the idea of Rodney Marsh, but figure that he was too much of a maverick and as likely to be sent off as do something amazing)

Giggs
Bale
J.Robertson (the only player i think i will include that i haven't seen live, watched a fair bit about Forest at Cloughs time and he looked quality)
