Summer 2021 transfer window

Feels very made up. Henderson wouldn't be of interest now and West Ham would give Utd £30m for Lingard if they'd take it

Online article saying about Uniteds interest in neves and there is 4 players they could include in the deal. Dalot, Henderson, Bailly and lingard,

would taking any of them plus cash be appealing? As much as I want to keep neves, lingard wouldn’t be a bad addition
Lingard the only one

No thanks.

We have a silly amount of right backs as it is, we've just bought a new keeper, Bailly is the George Ndah of centre halves and other than half a dozen decent games for West Ham, Lingard has done nothing for years, nor do we have anywhere to play him.
Lingard could play either wing or as a 2nd striker so strongly disagree on that point.

don’t want neves to go, but if we get cash plus Jesse then not a bad thing IMO especially if the cash allows to contribute towards a replacement

probably a false rumour. However, let’s be honest, most rumours are …

We've just signed Trincao and Adama will be back in the squad next week. That leaves no room for Lingard out wide (he only plays on the right), he isn't as good as either of them.

Don't think he has ever played up front?

Lingard could play in the ten role MGW played yesterday (and would do it fairly well I think) but is 29 this year, would block MGW if Lage rates him and would definitely not be worth selling Ruben for.

I think he played as an old fashioned 10 on loan at Blues

Doesn’t lage play inverted wingers? If so then Ofcourse he can play there.

think people need to be more open minded with the 2 up front. It can change into a 4231, 4411 split of a second. Traore has never played upfront until he was here for example.

not saying I’m an advocate for the move but if there was a swap deal I would only entertain lingard

Wasn’t saying sell neves for. Used as a makeshift, again not advocating the love but out of the 3 given it would be the only one I’d entertain

Lingard is a punchline of a footballer, we may as well sign Phil Jones

Still have flashbacks of our lads waving him through at Molineux as if he had a high speed police escort

We don't need another wide player, surely? Especially if we're considering RAN as an option too.

It seems likely Adama will go to me. Which leaves us with Trincao, Podence and Neto (who is out for a while yet). RAN is just covering that position for now so that him and Marcal get good minutes in pre-season, I'd be surprised if he plays in that position in the league.

Even if we don't get a taker for Adama I'd probably want another option, we were desperately short there last season. Hopefully Podence is past his injuries issues but we weren't able to rely on him, though he may suit the role coming in off the left.

Centre back and centre midfield still the priorities, mind you.

I don't think anyone is interested in Adama tbh.

The Leeds guy loves him! I think the issue will be someone paying what we want for him, which will be at least £30m.

If Bruno could get him receiving the ball inside off the right effectively, he'd be some threat I think. He just drifts wide when it starts getting difficult though.

Don't think you can bank on RAN as a wide forward option given that would be banking on Marcal as a left back

Yeah think we do need another wide player. Neto out for a while, Podence will always be in and out with injuries as well - Adama may or may not go. Lot of uncertainty at those positions. Don't want to see RAN further forward, don't mind it for friendlies for fitness but it's not his bag.
