Summer 2017 Window Thread

There was a murmur that we would wait and see which PL fringe strikers would be available on loan, If Gallagher is the best of it, another significant sum's going to be spent.

Was just about to post this. Absolutely amazing backtracking from Timothy.

It's almost as if he hardly gets any info out of the club, doesn't really understand what's happening so just makes it up as he bumbles along.

Change of tune from Tim II. Although I don't remember when we came out and said we had no money meaning signing a striker was "a change in tack"

Also still peddling the line of us being concerned about failing FFP

the piece on Jordan Rhodes is hilarious. They've only just bought him but are now willing to sell as long as they get their money back, apparently. Brilliant Britney, brilliant.

He quite obviously hasn't a clue what's going on nor does he look like he gets any info from the club.

Fosun and Mendes have been pulling rabbits out of hats all summer. There is no reason to believe that if they are going out to market with funds they'll return with magic beans and apart from the Kid in France everything we're being linked with here, with the possible exception of Nelson Oliveira are just that.

Looking forward to our new addition significantly strengthening our front line and causing a few more slack jaws

The Jordan Rhodes one has come via the Sheffield press and the fact when asked if Rhodes was for sale their manager basically said "if my bosses want to sell a player I won't stop them, I am here to manage what they give me" which didn't help and keeps the rumours alive.

That's just a manager saying he has no control over transfers and moron journo's putting 2+2 together and making cheese.

Standard behaviour though.

I am liking how Tim thinks we have suddenly found £15m behind the sofa though. Since day 1 it has never been about Budgets under Fosun. If a player is available that fits into how they want to work, youngish and a high % chance of them increasing their value with us they will buy. Not sure how that one has passed him by.

I genuinely think Tim is thick, can't find decent sources, relies on antagonising people for traffic and hasn't come up with a breaking story that isn't somebody else's. He just lacks the initiative to be a successful journalist. I just don't know what he offers the readership that people can't get elsewhere.

Filthy journalism...

I know the guy has coumn inches/kb's to fill, but as the areas foremost Wolves Journalist, he should be able to do better. He's definitely dim. Does anyone know if he is actually nice?

He can't be that "thick". He gets paid to watch and write about Wolves for a living. I mean, most of us would like to do that!
