Luciano Vietti from Atletico latest name flying around on Twitter

I still don't think we have a chance of signing Aboubakar but oh my if we do tomorrow is going to be a bit special. I expect us to sign a striker bu ti won't be massively upset if we don't, i don't want us to sign someone because we think we need to even if they aren't the right fit. Some don't want Gayle, most don't want Hugill or Rhodes yet everyone wants a striker. Not all fans are going to be happy but i'm well and truly on the Fosun train and trust them and Nuno to get it right.

We will sign a striker, Dicko wouldn't have gone if there wasn't a replacement lined up

Like i said i expect us to but i'm not overly concerned like most others if we don't because we couldn't get the right player. I've seen several twitter meltdowns today and i do not want to look at facebook.

I assume that Sevilla didn't decide to enact their option to buy at the end of his loan there then.

I know the bookies odds generally don't mean much on transfers (except when they are ridiculous like the 1/20 on Neves signing) but here are the latest odds from SkyBet on players club on September 1st that Wolves have odds for

Ashley Barnes - 6/1 (he's 1/2 to stay at Burnley, 4/1 WBA)
Benik Afobe - 15/2 (he's 1/7 to stay at Bournemouth)
Dwight Gayle - 12/1 (he's 8/11 to join Fulham, 11/10 to stay at Newcastle)
Jack Colback - 1/5 (he's 100/30 to stay at Newcastle)
Jordan Rhodes - 5/2 (he's 4/6 to stay at Sheff Wed)
Loic Remy - 14/1 (he's 4/6 to stay at Chelsea)
Nelson Oliveira - 8/1 (he's 8/13 to stay at Norwich)
Raul Jiminez - 14/1 (he's 4/6 to stay at Benfica)
Vincent Aboubakar - 6/4 (he's 8/13 to stay at Porto, Marseille now 8/1)

So according to the bookies Colback is nailed on, and Aboubakar and Rhodes are quite possible.

I'm hoping for this exact reaction when I read who we've signed tomorrow...

Apparently we're in talks with United over a loan signing of 20 year old central midfielder Scott McTominay

In for Scott McTominay, according to Spiers. 20yo midfielder from United.

I thought we'd have issues after what happened with Borthwick-Jackson last season.

Jose knows which side his bread's buttered.

Plus that was Lambert's fault, not anyone who's here now.

We now have Nuno not Lambert, Nuno is a longstanding friend of Jose, don't think there would be issues anymore

Can only loan one more, I think. So it's either him or Colback, or we're buying one of them outright.
