I've still got a feeling that Mendes will have a say in the appointment.

Probably because Fosun weren't sure if they were keeping Kev and they went with the opinion of those they know.

Since then they have kept (and kind of promoted) Thelwell. Really not a major thing as this is now part of his job.

Personally, i hope Fosun take as much time as they like.

Edwards can't do worse that Walt, except in interviews where Walt was brilliant.

Go with Edwards, watch the next few games and if it works or not,????? ask if we really do have the players to do the job, and if so, leave well alone and look for something serious by end of December.

I actually think Edwards comes across very well in interviews, highly eloquent and says all the right things.

I am feeling confident that whatever set up we decide to go on with, Edwards will still be involved. I think he is highly thought of within the club. Not ready for the top job yet, maybe, but one day it may well be his on a permanent basis.

Look at the young kid in the Bundesliga who's name escapes me right now, and then look at what the 'special one' isn't doing at Man U, never mind Ciy's Pep pill, for mega bucks.

Mick had a few outbursts but not like that. I don't really think the content of what Pearson has said is all that bad it's just the obvious rage he is trying to hide. I find some of it very difficult to watch and not because it offends me, more so that it makes me cringe.

If he is successful, in comparison to Allardyce and the other crooks and scallywags lined up by the bookies, why wouldn't Fosun, as a sensible business take some serious pause for thought.
